the Poetry of Life, The James and Janie Washington Foundation, Seattle

Washington request your presence on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 4
PM to 7 PM for a Black History Celebration.
We invite the community to join these three groups at the historical Washington home and studio at 1816 26th Avenue, Seattle, Washington. James Washington, noted world sculpture and artist who died in 2000, has left his home and studio as a "Artist-in-Residence," and student learning center. Celebrating the Poetry of Life on Saturday, February 25, is open to all. Carol Peoples-Proctor, President of the Black Heritage Society of Washington State will be the guest speaker; there will be student art on display; entertainment and refreshments. Complimentary admission. |
